Tragic Accident in Ambala: One Dead, Two Injured After Innova Car Collision

Shahzadpur: A youth died in a road accident in the Shahzadpur police station area, while two people were injured. The deceased has been identified as Sagar Chauhan, a resident of Rajputan Mohalla, Shahzadpur. After the accident, the car driver left the vehicle and fled from the spot. Police have registered a case on the complaint of Ravindra Singh, a resident of Rajputan Mohalla, and started an investigation.

A speeding car the bike

Ravindra said that his cousin Sagar Chauhan and uncle Maharana Pratap were going on bikes to work in the fields. He himself followed them on the bike for some work. A speeding car hit his bike on the Ambala-Kalaamb highway near Bibipur village.

Sagar Chauhan and Maharana Pratap fell on the road due to the collision. At the same time, the car driver also hit another Activa rider, Manu Tiwari (resident of Diggi, District Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh). After the accident, the accused got out of the car and ran away, but seeing the crowd increasing, he left the vehicle there and ran away.

Ravindra took the injured Sagar Chauhan and Maharana Pratap in a private vehicle to Civil Hospital Shahzadpur, where doctors declared Sagar dead. Maharana Pratap was referred to PGI Chandigarh after first aid; however, the family took him to MM Hospital, Saddopur, where his treatment is continuing.

Police have seized the car, and teams have been deployed to search for the absconding driver.
